Time is Relative

Time is a crazy, unstoppable force. It's amazing how time seems to collide with memory so very often and makes life, your life, become just one giant blur. Take school for example, i recall it feeling so painstakingly SLOW (and it STILL does!) just trying to get through ONE day. But, as i look back, it's like "hey, where did all the time go?" I'm coming to the end of my Junior year! I am right around the corner from becoming a High school senior, 'wow', that is something.

I look at my niece, i remember when she was born, i remember how tiny she was!(she was born premature) I recall her beginning to talk and walk... and run... man, she's almost 3 (July 4th is her birthday) already! My sister graduates in less than a month and is off to college (Central Washington) in a few months... Man, i can't believe it... I mean, it seems it was just yesterday we were 8 and 7 (her 8, me 7) and were playing with our barbie dolls! ha! crazy yo...
I'm at a point in my life where i'm thinking about this, and it's just, so thought provoking...

The mind boggling thing is, life ISN'T short, it's not an effervescent process. It's LONG, we know this in times where minutes seem like hours! (i.e. during a test, when you're waiting to hear important news, etc.) The reason why it feels so short, is because we don't remember more... the moments that were wasted, doing NOTHING... or maybe you just simply forget, either way, if you really, TRULY want to shake the fear that life is too short and would like to feel it's longevity...

First, waste as little time as possible... accomplish all you can, do what you love...live life to the fullest! Second, appreciate EVERY minute, EVERY second, you get, not HAVE. Get, THEN have, don't live too much in the past(or future) is all I'm saying... there's nothing wrong with reflecting upon the past in a sense of reverie. Third, surround yourselves with loved ones, appreciate them, love them unconditionally. Fourth, don't burden yourself... forgive, TRY to accept, hold no grudges, don't let adversaries hold you back and lastly? Never, ever, take one single breath for granted.
